sample, from "Trying Poems"

Back from the sights, now spots on my jacket.  I
dipped my fingers in paint- saw the veins seeking
truth on my palmy sweats. When there were still
stars in the sky, we saw the magical action where
fiery shots of trails lean from side to side. The
water bounced like dolphins' cry. Marvels stick a
wonder within new porous scopes holding here
this precious body stampeding the snow. Furry
calf gnaws the ground. Besides atrocious
settlements, our knees lock.
